Source and Style In Bach's Suites

Harpsichordist Carsten Schmidt and music historian Jason Stell discuss the history and development of the suite form in this lecture-recital. The talk is presented in conjunction with Schmidt's on-going Bach Project, which offers all of Bach's keyboard works in solo harpsichord recitals. (EVENT WAS ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR MARCH 1, 2013.)
