Lansing Derby Vixens Skatie Hawkins Dance

You are invited to celebrate the start of the Lansing Derby Vixen's 2013 season!

Traditionally, a Sadie Hawkins Dance was an event where women asked men to the dance. But in a Skatie Hawkins Dance, anyone is free to ask anyone! Have you had your eye on a handsome lad? Ask him! Has a certain lovely lady piqued your interest? Ask her! Whomever asks, all that matters is that you get yourselves out to celebrate a fantastic Vixens season!

We will kick off the evening with The Smoking Jackets LIVE and end it dancing to the sweet beats of DJ RachaelP. Skaters will be putting together unique silent auction items that represent their derby names. Make sure you wear your finest cocktail dress or suit! The Vixens' official photographer, Jena McShane, will be there taking beautiful photos of you in your finery.*
