Special Event: Benefit for SRJC Fire Relief Fund

On Oct 8th a devastating wildfire swept through Sonoma County. Overnight tens of thousands were evacuated, many wondering if they would have a home to go back to. Two weeks later, the fires still not 100% contained, families are slowly returning to homes or ashes. In total, 6,700 structures were destroyed in the Tubbs, Nuns, and Pressley fires. In our own little community here at the Santa Rosa Junior College, over 1000 faculty members, students, and other staff have lost everything. SRJC has started a fire relief fund for all SRJC family, staff and students, who are in need after this catastrophic event.

This is a benefit encore presentation of Cassini:True Lord of the Rings. All profits will go directly to the SRJC Fire Relief fund, where 100% of the proceeds go to fire victims in the SRJC family. Travel to Saturn, above the fires and smoke, let your eyes take in the beauty of one of our most amazing planets, and lend a hand to your neighbors.

Parking is FREE! Ask for a pass at the door!

Suggested donation: $10
The only difference in price is how much you are able/willing to contribute to this cause. The planetarium does not have the ability to process credit cards.

CASH ONLY AT DOOR! All tickets/donations at the door are cash only. We have no way to take credit cards at the door. We apologize for the inconvenience.

If you would like to donate tickets for fire victim families; you can purchase tickets and mark ticket holder as "Fire Survivor" or contact us and let us know your name and how many tickets of your purchase you'd like set aside for these families who could maybe use a little escape from Earth for awhile.
