Texas Rollergirls Stars and Stripes Fall Festival
Celebrate Fall with the Texas Rollergirls! Come meet your favorite skaters, relax with your friends and family, get a bit of holiday shopping done early, and watch some home grown roller derby.
This Veterans Day, 11/11/2017, all Veterans and Active Duty Military who present their military ID, Retired ID, Veterans Card or are in uniform will receive a Free Admission.
This event will be from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and will be chock-full of roller derby -- including a Stars and Strips themed CO-ED roller derbyscrimmage, the Texas Rollergirls Rec League scrimmage, TROLLER DERBY, and everything in between! In addition to the day full of roller derby, we're looking forward to hosting vendors from around the Austin area, as well as having a silent auction and raffle benefiting the Texas Rollergirls, a non-profit organization. The 2017 Texas Rollergirls Stars and Strips Fall Festival takes place on Saturday, November 11, at the Austin Sports Center, located at 425 Woodward, Austin, Texas, 78704. There is no entrance fee for the Vendor Village side of the event.
Derby will be happening ALL day on the regular bouting side of our venue for $10. Kids and Veterans will receive free entry to derby side. Wristbands to gain entry to the roller derby events will also be available at the door.
Here is the tentative Derby schedule (times are subject to change but series of events will remain the same):
2pm - 4pm *DROP IN* Stars vs Stripes themed CO-ED scrimmage
-$20 per participant, minimum skills and skater insurance is required and liability form must be signed before skating
-sign up is capped at 30 people (yes, this is a co-ed skating opportunity!)
4pm-6pm Texas Rollergirls' Rec League scrimmage
6pm-8pm *Troller Derby*
