CYR Wheel Workshop
This introduction course is designed for new students to get a good idea of what Cyr Wheel feels like physically, in their hands, while also establishing plenty of skills to inspire and motivate their own practice for several months.
Topics and skills covered in this workshop:
Off wheel manipulations
Center spin and starts
Understanding waltz technique
Rocks
Attendee sizing:
Wheels provided are best suited for heights no taller than 63 and no shorter that 5'2 . Shorter than 5 will not be possible on this workshop.
Attendee attire:
Loose comfortable clothing is preferred. Flat footwear (jazz dance, skate board, and martial arts shoes are great) Leather palmed weight lifting gloves are helpful but not required.
Instructor Bio:
2017 USA Gold Medalist and USAWGF certified coach Jameson Peligro, tours the Midwest to foster communities of Cyr Enthusiasts. His comprehensive, hands on methods assure a strong foundation for beginners to build on.
