FAT & SCANT OF BREATH; or, STABBING AT HAMLET
Writer and Performer: Jason O'Connell
Asking if you have what it takes to be (or not to be) the Melancholy Dane is a daunting question for any actor, but when you don't fit the traditional mold and your resume lists more comedy clubs than classical theaters, it can be downright (sorry, Ophelia) maddening. Jason O'Connell's follow-up to THE DORK KNIGHT explores his relationship with the granddaddy of all Shakespeare plays. The roles may change, the interpretations may shift, and the reviews may - hopefully - improve, but when it comes to Hamlet, the play will always be the thing.

Emerging Artists returns with their one-of-a-kind festival. Visit the theater any evening during this three-week event, and you'll find yourself transported in a number of surprising ways: by a single performer embodying a whole host of characters; by a more experimental theater piece "done differently" that challenges and delights; by a cozy two-person show exploring relationships; or perhaps by a bouncy new musical that will have you humming. Emerging Artists has always been about new works, new talents, new voices. That's never been more evident than now.
NO REFUNDS will be granted.
