The Music & Magic of Patsy Cline featuring Cassie and the Bobs

This October, let Friday the 13th be your lucky night. Part of our 14 Fridays Concert Series, Great River Arts is thrilled to present, The Music & Magic of Patsy Cline featuring Cassie and the Bobs. The band has been touring for over eight years and have gathered rave reviews becoming the number one Patsy Cline tribute show in all of the midwest. Join us Friday, October 13th at 7:30 pm with doors opening at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $15 and are available at Great River Arts, by phone, online at www.greatart.org/live and at the door.

Patsy Cline once said, Find one person in the audience and sing to them with all of your heart. cast a spell over them, and Cassie Wiesner will do just that. Cassie Wiesners powerful portrayal of Patsy Cline takes audiences on a musical trip down memory lane as she sings Crazy, Walkin After Midnight, I Fall To Pieces, and many more of the songs that made Cline one of the most acclaimed female vocalists of the 20th Century. No one comes closer to sounding like Cline than Wiesner, and the Bobs are a full group of accomplished musicians, dedicated to sounding as true-to-the-spirit of the original recordings as possible. This year, as Wiesner leaves the stage, her band will take over sharing a treat of other music from this era.

In addition to Wiesner, the Bodacious Bobcat Band features many talented musicians including guitarist, Terry Kennedy, percussionist, Randy Barnes, bass guitarist, Todd Nelson, pianist and accordion, Anne OFlynn, drummer, Tony Ray, and lead guitarist, Kevin Klimek. All of whom hail from Minnesota with a background in country music especially in the honky-tonk style.

People who love Patsy Cline will be delighted and enthralled with this performance. Cassie and the Bobs have repeatedly drawn large audiences and sold out shows testifying to the quality of the show and the enduring popularity of Patsy Cline more than fifty years after her tragic death.

Great River Arts is located at 122 SE 1st Street in historic downtown Little Falls and funded in part by the Five Wings Arts Council and Legacy Amendment. Gallery & gift shop hours are Wednesday-Friday 11am-6pm and Saturday 10am-2pm.
