Mike Stern is a guitarist with a singularly impressive resume that includes stints with Billy Cobham, Blood Sweat and Tears, David Sanborn, Miles Davis and the Brecker Brothers. His cascading riffs have been imitated by legions of guitarists, but never successfully reproduced. An affinity for coaxing deep, multi-dimensional tones from his guitar makes for a unique contribution to any project. In a career that spans three decades and a discography that includes more than a dozen eclectic and innovative recordings, six-time GRAMMY nominee Mike Stern has established himself as one of the premier jazz and fusion guitarist/composers of his generation. His band is joined by trumpet favorite and long-time collaborator Randy Brecker, as well as renowned, powerhouse drummer Dave Weckl.
