Brush Up on Venom & Surprise
1 of 4 Playwriting Intensives offered to professional and new playwrights (or screenwriters) who want to brush up on Venom & Surprise (and later an intensives on Diagnostics & Dramaturgy) in order to start new projects or move forward with what they are working on already.
Some people only write when they have an idea, but the truth is: we are all full of ideas! There are a few secrets to getting out of our own way as writers, so if you've ever felt as if your work has not been quite as bold as you'd like it to be, this session will be a shot of courage! How can we surprise ourselves in our writing practice? How can we get to the meat of what we want it all to mean?
