The Community Women's Orchestra invites you to join us at a fun and elegant afternoon of chamber music, wine, hors d'oeuvres, original artwork by local artists, and more! (Further details below).

Sunday, January 27, 2013, 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the beautiful Piedmont Center for the Arts, 801 Magnolia Avenue, Piedmont, CA.


TICKETS:
$25 in advance and $30 at the door. Children under 12 admitted free

FEATURES:

- Chamber music performed by the Community Women's Orchestra;

- Spectacular, historic venue with stunning views of the Bay Area;

- Free street parking;

- Specialty hors d'oeuvres and wine and soft drinks will be served;

- Silent and Live Auctions led by Jennifer Fisher.

WHY SUPPORT CWO?
CWO is proud to promote orchestral music by women composers in a fun and welcoming environment, and is one of only a handful of women-only orchestras in the world. Concert ticket sales account for only 25% of the Community Women's Orchestra's annual expenses. Your support helps to ensure the continued success of the orchestra's many important projects, such as:

- New entry-level ensemble: Strings Attached;

- Purchasing instruments (e.g. tuba, percussion);

- Commissioning new music by women composers;

- Touring and preparation for CWO's 30th anniversary in 2015;

- Assistant Conductor intern program;

- Professional instrument coaches.
