Here is a well-repeated myth: we use less than 10% of our brain power. But magnetic resonance imaging shows that most of the human brain is active most of the time. In the course of a day, you use just about every part of your brain.
But our subconscious minds are usually on auto-pilot: controlling our autonomic nervous systems, repeating ingrained patterns and allowing our bodies to fall victim to psychosomatic, emotion-based and stress-related illness.
In this course, we will explore the benefits of hypnosis, what it may be able to do for you, and how you can learn to access your subconscious using self-hypnosis techniques. You many be able to improve your health, well-being and happiness. With self-hypnosis, it may be possible to learn how to retrain your subconscious mind to positively impact your life physically, mentally and emotionally.
Barbara Lane will show you how to practice a hypnosis technique that includes creating your own script to access your subconscious. You will gain the tools and confidence to use this on an on-going basis to re-frame, retool and recharge your life!

Barbara Lane, Ph.D., is a clinical hypnotherapist assisting others in releasing blocks to their health and happiness. Her work combines alternative and traditional healing therapies. Shes been on the staff of the Center for Integrative Medicine at GWU hospital. Shes been an anchor/reporter, corporate trainer, homeless shelter case manager and author.
