The Poetry of Love
This fall, Kalanidhi Dance explores lifes most enduring emotion in The Poetry of Love. The production brings together five new choreographic works inspired by love poems that span tradition, time, and culture. From an eighteenth century Scottish lament, to a classical Tamil love poem of the sixth century, The Poetry of Love re-discovers loves complexity through Kuchipudi dance, revealing facets that can be at once heartbreaking and healing. The production features original music by well-known composer and flute virtuoso, Raman Kalyan.
