The Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival Music Concert
Acclaimed musicians from China and the US will be performing at this event to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.
Merano Musical Instruments was established in 2000, and since then, we have made it possible for everyone to own their dream instrument and to play with confidence. Merano Cultural Performances Inc. aims to showcase unique aspects of Chinese musical art forms such as orchestras with traditional Chinese instruments and making it available for large audiences to view. Our mission is to spread the enjoyment of distinctive sounds to entertain and teach audiences of all ages the pleasure of listening to traditional music while maintaining performances of the highest quality to engage our local communities. Merano Cultural Performance Inc. includes Zhong Hua Chinese Orchestra, LA Yue Opera House and LA Chinese Opera Center.
The second performance of the year will be held on October 7, 2017 at the Arcadia Performing Arts Center. The famous Chinese national level conductor , the famous suona player, Sheng player, the National Orchestra chief percussion, The national first-class actress will debut together.
Zhong Hua Chinese Orchestra specializes in Chinese music and opera. Chinese Yue Opera captures the essence of national art. Which makes every effort to carry forward the traditional opera music to create, inherit, and actively explore to reflect the features of Chinese traditional opera music.
Chinese Yue opera is a treasure of the Chinese culture, with its unique artistic charm it has been popular among the masses throughout the long history of the Chinese nation. The demand for opera is not only for the spirit, but also culture as it holds an irreplaceable role because of the varieties within the genre that reflect life in different regions and their social customs.
