Amanda Lee
Though one may hear some pop and folk sensibilities in Amanda Lee's songs, the "pop" or "folk" category do not quite pinpoint her sound. Her dynamic voice takes you on a ride; it calms you like a lullaby then lifts you high into a launching soar. Whatever genre it is, Lee's sound is soothingly addictive. She herself is ever changing, and her music continues to evolve with her.
Amanda was the 1st place winner of the KBN's Talent Competition in 2002, where she met her bass player (now bandmate/husband), placed 2nd in the first annual Kollabortion DC competition in 2010, has played all over the DC area including notable venues such as Jammin Java, The Hamilton Live, The Howard Theatre, Gibson Guitar Showroom, Iota Club & Cafe, and her YouTube videos have accumulated over 475,000 views.
With the ambition of wanting to put her music in people's hands, Lee partnered with Pledge Music to campaign the funding of her first EP. With much success, her fans prevailed and thus Lee was able to start recording with Kevin Gutierrez at Assembly Line Studios in Vienna, VA. Lee co-produced the album with Gutierrez and her bass player, Posido Vega. The album was released digitally in April 2011.

Margot MacDonald
Margot MacDonald is a bewitching vocal powerhouse -- she is Robert Plant's raw strength swept across three octaves and smoldering with a little Feist. Margot is a textbook case of "classically-trained-soprano-hijacked-by-Led Zeppelin." She started her singing career with the Washington National Opera at age 10, and by 15 she was rocking a Strat, releasing a second album, and packing regional venues. Since then she has put out a third and fourth CD, opened for national acts, and played venues like DC's legendary 9:30 Club, Kennedy Center, Wolftrap, Birchmere, BlackRock, Ram's Head Live, and The Bitter End in NYC. She was also a recent Artist-in-Residence at the Music Center at Strathmore, where she still regularly performs. Margot is the current recipient of the "Artist of the Year" Washington Area Music Award, her 9th Wammie win. In her spare time, the 20-yr-old supports nonprofits such as Musicians On Call and More Than Me, and regularly performs at charity events. Margot hosts the BMI showcase series in DC, serves on the board of directors of the Songwriters' Association of Washington, and has led GRAMMY U and other songwriting workshops. She is in the midst of mastering the loop pedal and discovering the musical genius of half-filled glass bottles.

Simone and the Spectrum
Energetic newcomers to the Northern Virginia music scene, Simone and the Spectrum are quickly catching the eyes and ears of all those who see and hear them. Simone Sattler's infectious blend of indie-pop piano and striking vocals combines with her Spectrum to form a unique and uplifting sound. Guitarist D.J. Kyriakides, bassist Troy Tyrer and drummer John Werthmann fill out the quartet with multi-instrumental textures and surprise elements. The four came together in the Spring of 2011, after Sattler set out to record six of her recently written songs with the help of Kyriakides, who soon after suggested she form a band. With a piano-playing singer and a record-engineering guitarist in tow, the obvious next step was to call on the drum skills of Werthmann, as well as the bass powers of Tyrer, who had already made a cameo appearance on the original EP. With the new EP is approaching it's finish and exciting new opportunities, the four have been performing together ever since that first fateful practice when they realized the spectrum of possibilities ahead.
