Glass Fusion Yard Art

This fun filled class is taught by Artist in residence at Copper Cat Studio, Donna Smit who will show you how to create large (over 8") glass fusion flowers to enhance your yard. Each student will create an "organic" piece by using scraps of translucent clear glass that can either be abstract, mosaic style or your design. The second piece will be a large petal flower layered with multiple pieces of glass using stringers and frit. Donna will teach you several different techniques that include copper inclusions. All materials, tools, and garden stakes are also included. Previous glass cutting experience preferred. This class is limited to 8 students.
