Then Senator John F. Kennedy famously observed the impact of economic policy on individuals' prosperity and cited the adage "A rising tide lifts all boats." This visual metaphor has since been
applied to many other issues, including the power of design to transform the fabric of our society, to improve the built environment, and to promote sustainability and resiliency initiatives.

In today's interconnected world, where our economic prosperity, public safety and environmental sustainability are directly linked, architects have a distinct opportunity-and some might even say
responsibility-to share knowledge and demonstrate the value of design to transform the places we work, live and play. However, this responsibility does not emerge from work done in the
proverbial silo.

Conversations must be had; strategy must be mapped; we must work together.

Attendees will learn from others, refine their skills and offer insights into ways the AIACC can provide resources to its members and their firms to succeed in the future. Together, we can usher in a culture of sharing knowledge and lift the profession to new heights.
