The Stand-Up Seminary - Level 1 - Tuesday- Sep/Oct 2017

The Lincoln Lodge has created The Stand-Up Seminary a beginners foundation course that strives to give prospective performers the confidence and skills they need to begin a career in standup comedy or just have some fun trying a new experience!

The class requires no previous stand up comedy or writing experience and culminates with a live performance of the material developed in class.

The course is founded on the comedy principles of the critically acclaimed Lincoln Lodge, a national leader in
cultivating and developing new comedy talent.

The teacher for this class session is Ricky Gonzalez - rickygonzalezcomedy.com

The six weekly 2 hour sessions of this course will focus on:
Joke structure.
Development of material.
Finding an attitude and persona.
Connecting with an audience.
Creating a cohesive set.

Class Schedule is as follows -
Tuesday, September 19th at 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, September 26th at 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, October 3th at 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, October 10th at 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, October 17th at 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, October 24th at 7:00 p.m.

Location: Class takes place at SHEIL PARK (see map) and NOT at the Lincoln Lodge!

REFUND Policy: Full refunds are available any time up to 48 hours before the first class commences. Refunds after that time are at the course administrator's discretion. Once classes have commenced it is NOT possible to get either a full or partial refund. If you are unable to complete the entire course in some extenuating circumstances we can allow you to complete the course at a subsequent session provided adequate space is available. This is subject to course administrator's discretion.

ROLLOVER Policy: If you are not able to participate in class after registration and the refund window has expired you can potentially roll your registration over to the next course session provided space is available. This is subject to course administrator's discretion.
