Paul Dietrich Quintet
The Chicago-based Paul Dietrich Quintet celebrates the release of their second album, Focus, on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Arts + Literature Laboratory. Tickets are $10 in advance online or $12 at the door. Online sales end one hour before the show.
Trumpeter and composer Dietrich, a Madison resident since 2013, has been called an "apt bandleader, exceptional composer and superlative performer" by AllAboutJazz.com and "uniquely introspective" by JazzInMadison.org. He will be joined by some of Chicago's best young jazz musicians - saxophonist Dustin Laurenzi, pianist Paul Bedal, bassist Tim Ipsen and drummer Andrew Green.
