Momentum 2017: A Century of American TheaterDance

A series of exciting dance performances by students of The Big Open Space (TBOS) TheaterDance program showcasing 100 years of American TheaterDance. The program is specifically designed for students of musical theater and the performing arts, teaching a myriad of dance styles, including lyrical ballet, contemporary, jazz, hiphop, period dance, world dance, character dance and Broadway repertory.

Directed and choreographed by Lee Kane. Lee is the founder and director of The Big Open Space. Her goal is to instill a sense of confidence and a love for dance in Bay Area youth.

where and when: 4 performances over 2 days at The Flight Deck, 1540 Broadway in Oakland - June 10-11 at 3pm and 7pm each day. Tickets $20 each.
