Contributors:

Melissa Blake is a blogger and freelance writer who lives with her mom, sister, and cats in the Midwest. She's been known to overshare and has an unabashed love for pop music, polo shirts, and PEZ dispensers. Her writing has appeared on The New York Times, Cosmo, Marie Claire, The Establishment, Glamour and The Frisky!

Monet Holmes writes, "We are a fun-loving and progressive family originally from California and currently residing in the suburbs of Chicago."

Moderator:

Linda Oakleaf lives in Kansas City with her wife and kids, but is a Chicago native who desperately misses real pizza and Vienna Beef hotdogs. She got her first taste of activism as a Lesbian Avenger in Chicago, where she learned that a small band of people really could make change happen. Twenty years later she says that she's still learning that lesson. The stories in Pantsuit Nation remind her daily that hard work is the only thing that makes change possible and that together, we can all do our piece.

Host (Pantsuit Nation admin and photo editor for the book):

Lee Fearnside is an artist and professor in rural northwest Ohio, where she lives with her wife, son, two dogs, and six chickens, surrounded by industrial agriculture. She is a firm believer in the power of stories to shift culture, and connects social issues and narrative in her art.
