Tall Ships Parade of Sail Viewing with Friends of the Boston Harbor Islands.
Friends of the Boston Harbor Islands have chartered the MV Columbia Point to view the Parade of Sail. We shall depart UMass Boston the Fox Point Pavilion at 10:00a.m. sharp and go directly to an anchorage in the Harbor to view the flotilla of Tall Ships as they enter through the Broad Sound into the Inner Harbor. Boarding will begin at 9:15a.m.
Bring food and beverages; there is no food sold on the boat and alcohol is prohibited. The MV Columbia Point shall return to the Fox Point dock at 1:00p.m.
We will send detailed directions for public transportation and parking as we get closer to the event. Currently the construction on Campus requires constant road and walking changes. In the meantime, you may visit the website:
