"Finding Your Way Around the Hearth" Open Hearth Cooking class at Landis Valley

This class is designed for students with little to no food preparation skills and who have never cooked on an open hearth. We will prepare traditional PA German foods each day, such as noodles, sausage, cabbage dishes, etc.

Students should not wear shorts, sandals, flip-flops, or synthetic fabrics. Bring an apron and rolling pin and board. Avoid wearing hairspray and nail polish.

Class is part of Landis Valley's 2017 Summer Institute.

Please note that prices include a catered breakfast and lunch in the Yellow Barn each day for Institute participants. If you choose to forgo the meals, please choose the 'no meals option' pricing.
