The Harmaleighs - Secret Show - Benefiting Chattanooga Girls Rock Camp

Chattanooga House Shows is teaming up with Chattanooga Girls Rock Camp on this one!

The Harmaleighs are a folk-Americana duo with catchy harmonies along with elements of country and pop.

If you like bands like The Lumineers, Brandi Carlile, Patty Griffin, or Trampled By Turtles, this is your show.

Collecting My Change continues the sense of fun with some dynamite banjo work propelling the song along. Chattanooga Girls Rock was born out of a sincere belief in the transformational effect of a music education (tailored to a wide variety of learning styles, musical interests, and abilities), a commitment to fostering a more diverse and uplifting music scene in Chattanooga, and a desire to provide girls with positive adult mentors and a supportive community where they can feel free to be exactly who they are.

2017 will be CGR's second summer camp and is 100% volunteer.

Location will be sent to you 1-2 days before the show. It'll be at a private residence or cool business, you never know :). It will be intimate and think you'll like it.

A few things to know if you haven't been to one of our house concerts before.

We find talented, professional musicians who are touring across the country. We look for artists who have something special. Some of them are selling out 1000 person venues in their home market and winning music awards. Lot of them have been invited to perform on internationally recognized video series like NPR Tiny Desk Concerts, Audiotree Live, or Paste Magazine. For many of them, this is their first or second time in Chattanooga or have only passed through between bigger cities.

Lucky for us, that means we get to see them in an intimate setting and you can be a part of putting our town on the map for hosting/supporting emerging, independent artists.

These shows are private events and not promoted publicly. This is a unique opportunity (and such a treat) to experience live music, up close and personal. The audience (aka you!) is just as important to making these shows special. We want a full room of friends, and friends of friends, who enjoy discovering new music, meeting new people, and want to see independent artists thrive. If you're a local musician, we'd also love for you to come and meet fellow artists in other areas so we can create more bridges for our local talent.

100% of the contribution to the artist/s and cause. Your contribution helps make Chattanooga another reason why artists will come back every time they're on tour (even when they get big and famous ;)).
