Forbidden Voices: Community Women's Orchestra Concert
CWO will collaborate with the University of California Alumni Chorus to perform works by artists whose voices have historically been silenced. Repertoire includes Street Requiem (written for a choir of homeless singers), William Grant Stills Afro-American Symphony, a world premiere by Bay Area composer June Bonacich, and Anne Frank: A Living Voice by Linda Tutas Haugen.
