Yoga+Burlesque is a yoga class designed to support the embodiment of burlesque. Both practices have the capacity to empower and transform. Discover how yogic practices and principles can support the physical, energetic and mental needs of your burlesque work. Connect to your breath and by extension to your energetic body. Expand and refine your awareness with performer, teacher and choreographer Miss Kitty Oaks, whose aim as a teacher is to share practices that illuminate, elevate and titillate the world.
Leave class feeling more connected to yourself and to the world around you! Take home a glossary of terms and tools to support you on your burlesque path. Bring traditional yoga props such as mats, blocks, and straps if you have them.
