Needle Play Intensive Workshop

Saturday, April 1st 2017 from 10am to 3pm
Come join Tom Hill & his Suspension team through the Carnival of Curiosity & Chaos with this 1 day workshop on Needle Play. Lean how to engage in needle play safely and about the various play piercing options there are to explore. The day will be broken up into 3 class topics: Safety & How to Engage in Play Piercing, Designing with needles, and informational on Hook Suspension (see class description below for details). Directly afterward all students have free entry for the Hook Suspension event. Special offer for those attending will have an opportunity to purchase a complete starter kit for needle play to take home and explore further with their partner(s). All kits most be ordered in advance.

Safety & How to Engage in Play Piercing.
Play piercing is done for the purpose of enjoyment (or pain) rather then permanent body decoration. It can be a form of self-expression, ritual, self-discovery, sexual pleasure, and entertainment. The endorphin high from play piercing can create a variety of sensations. This class will demonstrate safe practices and techniques for those interested in exploring this kind of play. You will also be coached on the connections that can be established through this exchange. This class is part lecture and part hands-on. We will also discuss the more extreme form of piercings specifically pertaining to Energy Pulls and Flesh Hook Suspension.

Imagery & Design with Needles.
Want to use the body as a canvas not just a pin cushion? Learn hot to create your own patterns to execute on the body with play piercings. Focus is on maintaining consistency and keeping a safe, clean environment for longer sessions.

The Intrigue of Hook Suspension.
So, whats is hook suspension all about? Discover the personal expansion and energy exchange that can be had with suspension. The class overviews how to get started and what do expect from flying in hooks. Workshop with a demonstration.
