Bling My Vibe! Workshop & Craft Session

Bling My Vibe! invites sex and art celebrities as well as members of the public to make an art piece using a simple Smoothie vibrator. Once you have your vibe, paint it, decoupage it, bejewel it, sew it an outfit, or otherwise get creative. Want a little encouragement and inspiration? Were hosting two special Bling My Vibe Workshops at the Polk Street Good Vibrations for folks who want to make their arty vibrator creations together. Well have your vibrator ready to bling, plus hot glue guns and lots of bling to put onto them! (You can bring your own supplies too, of course, if you have something special you want to use.) Hosted by Staff Sexologist (and arty collagist) Dr. Carol Queen and textile artist Jack Davis. $10 advance, $15 at the door: fee covers the cost of vibe and materials.

More about the contest: If you dont attend one of our Bling My Vibe crafts nights and want to make your own at home, the vibrator base will be available at all GV stores for $4 from March 1st through April 30th while supplies last! (We donate a dollar of that directly to our GiVe program to support community sexual health initiatives.) These arted- and tarted-up vibes will be displayed at the Good Vibrations Polk Street store during the months of April and May. Winner/s will be announced during our May Masturbation Month celebration! Which is the best-blinged vibrator of them all? The top three winners will receive a Good Vibrations gift basket/gift card combo valued at $300, $200, and $100 respectively.

Rules and regs:
You must use a Good Vibes Smoothie or comparable hard plastic Smoothie-style vibrator as the basis of the art project.
You may add any element/s to the vibrator you choose.
The finished vibrator will be displayed at Good Vibrations, and photo/s of it become the property of Good Vibrations to be displayed on its website and any other contexts it deems appropriate.
