Synopsis: In a remote northern woodland town, a young Cree mother and her 7-year-old son find themselves on the run from social services in the wake of the mysterious disappearance of her boyfriend. She turns to the land around her to uncover the truth about his whereabouts, uncovering a well of secrets that ripple through the community.
