PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BELOW:
Beardfest is a three day - three night, family-friendly festival centered around providing its attendees and co-curators with the best music, education, live art, food, and artisans we can find. Attendees can watch music and create collaborative art works at the same time, swim in the lake, explore the woods, and participate in workshops throughout. The Beardfam wants to include street teamers who share our passions for community-building, healthy living, and showcasing their very best.
Joining Beardfest's Street Team is a great way to gain free attendance to killer shows in the area, earn your ticket to Beardfest, and get some cool perks - like a free Beardfest poster and a free meal in the backstage area during the fest! Best of all, though, might be the memories that you create by joining the Beardfest family and the sense of being a part of something special.
Below is an overview of your Perks and Responsibilities as a Street Teamer. Once your ticket is purchased, our street team coordinator will reach out to you to explain them more completely, and to answer any of your questions.

PERKS:
-REFUNDABLE TICKET (we will refund everything except $10, which we must keep for the land owner). The Refund will go through paypal in the week following the event. Refunds WILL NOT be given to anyone who does not FULLY COMPLETE the street team requirements.
-FREE BEARDFEST 2017 POSTER, claimable at the merch table anytime throughout the event.
-We will be able to get you in to certain shows for free.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- BE RESPONSIVE to the street team coordinators emails and messages!
- ATTEND 4 SHOWS/EVENTS from our approved list and promote Beardfest at them by hanging posters, talking to people, and distributing a TON of handouts. *(A festival where you stay for an extended period of time and reach a ton of people may count as 2 shows) *(we will be able to get you into certain events for free)
- HANG 35 11x17 POSTERS in our designated public areas.
- MAKE 4 SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS about Beardfest throughout March and April. Make one each week in May.
- INVITE 200 FRIENDS to the Beardfest 2017 Facebook EVENT PAGE.
- KEEP TRACK of ALL of your work through the Simple Crew App, which we will explain in detail to you when we reach out. *Because we use this app to organize the Street Team, you MUST have a smart phone in order to participate.
NOTES:
- We would rather not have to make our street teamers buy a ticket in the first place, but because we rely on each and every street teamer that promotes Beardfest, we need some level of assurance that you are going to keep your promise to meet your responsibilities. We would love to trust everyone who signs up, but unfortunately there are some people out there who try to take advantage of the system every single year. As soon as your responsibilities are met, you will be refunded all but $10 of your ticket purchase.
- Please keep in mind that there are a limited amount of street team positions available. Street Team Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis, and will probably all be snatched up within the first couple days of them being made available.
-You MUST HAVE A SMART PHONE to be on the street team. This is because we organize the Street Team through a smart phone app.
