PSM I Certification Prep Class from FreeStandingAgility.com - March
This 1-day class is designed to provide you with a rapid foundation in the values, benefits, and practices of Agile and Scrum. After completeing this class, you will have a solid understanding of what Agile is and how to apply Scrum. In addition, you will be provided with a password for one attempt to take the Professional Scrum Master level I (PSM I) assessment established by Scrum.org (a $150 value).
The PSM I assessment is available to anyone who wants to validate their depth of knowledge of the Scrum framework and its application. Those who pass the assessment will receive the industry-recognized PSM I certification from Scrum.org, along with a PSM I logo that you can use to identify your achievement. In addition, your name will also be posted publicly on the Scrum.org Certification List.
Taking this course is not required to attempt the PSM I assessment, but being firmly grounded on Agile and Scrum fundamentals will greatly improve your chances of passing. The PSM I assessment is rigorous. Many questions ask you to think about or interpret the meaning from the Scrum Guide, apply content from key subject areas, and in some cases, apply your own experience.
If you feel that you already possess a high level of Scrum knowledge and understanding, you can visit the Scrum.org site, purchase a password directly from Scrum.org (priced at $150), and take the PSM I assessment.
If you want an edge in preparing for the PSM I assessment, we recommend that you consider taking this 1-day class as part of your preparation.
