Ever wonder how some of our streets got their names? Who were
Cochrane, Tennant and Dunne. This presentation will divulge little known facts about street names and other fascinating information about the history of Morgan Hill.

The Scandal that Shaped Morgan Hill:
A look at interpretive history to explain why the Hills left Morgan Hill and California. Our Community knows little about the life of our Citys namesake and his wife, Diana Murphy, at their Victorian home in Morgan Hill. We will take a look at factual information and try to fill in the blanks to explain their exodus from California.

Presenters:
Kathy Sullivan has been a resident of Morgan Hill since 2000 and a member of the Morgan Hill Historical Society since 2005. She has served as its president since 2012. Kathy is passionate about Morgan Hills history and about being engaged to help preserve it. Jean Haneke also has been a resident since 2000 and has served as Vice President of the Morgan Hill Historical Society since 2015. Kathy and Jean are passionate about Morgan Hill history and enjoy being engaged to help preserve it.
