WADMHP Spring Conference 2017 - Focus on Case Law
The Washington Association of Designated Mental Health Professionals will be hosting their Spring Conference in conjunction with the 2017 Washington Behavioral Healthcare Conference.

Aleksandra Letts is a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney with the King County Prosecuting Attorneys office where she has worked for 10 years. She is currently a trial attorney at the Involuntary Treatment Act Court where she represents multiple Evaluation and Treatment facilities as well as other King County hospitals. She is passionate about helping patients in crisis obtain the inpatient psychiatric treatment they desperately need. Aleksandra has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Arizona, and she feels lucky to be practicing in an area of the law that blends her interests. She lives in Normandy Park, WA with her husband, two children, and cute schnoodle.
Additionally on June 15h & 16th, the 28th annual Washington Behavioral Healthcare Conference provides a learning experience that expands professional knowledge, promotes community partnerships, and helps make recovery a reality. This year there will be 35 workshops on a broad variety of behavioral health topics, and tracks on corrections & mental health, recovery & resiliency, management, leadership & operations, cultural awareness/diversity, integration, and more. There will also be pre-conference training opportunities and continuing education clock hours.
Confirmed keynoters include Kevin Briggs, a suicide prevention and crisis management expert; Victoria Maxwell, an actress & expert on the lived experience of mental illness, recovery and stigma; and Hank Steadman, PhD, a national leader on mental health and criminal justice policy.
