Intro to Full Contact

We are incredibly (read: crazy excited!) pleased to announce that the fantabulous Coach Kitty (Evil Angels coach and retired, but still incredibly active, Rat City Rollergirl) and her fearless sister, Holly (aka H. Botts from Rat City Rollergirl's All Stars) are teaming up to teach an Intro to Full Contact Clinic for Division 1 skaters interested in full-contact and who are thinking about trying out for Division 2 for next season. Squeee!!

Please note: this is NOT a required clinic. Skaters who don't feel quite ready for, or who are not interested in, full-contact should not feel any pressure to attend. We love having you on Div 1, and you can stay as long as you'd like!

This clinic IS, however, a great opportunity for any skater who doesn't quite know if they're ready for full-contact or not; skaters will have a much better idea of what happens at the full-contact level after this introductory course, and will be better informed when deciding their own next steps. This clinic is also (of course!), a perfect opportunity for any skater who IS hoping to skate with Division 2 next season, as it will introduce many fundamental full-contact skills (ie, how to absorb a hit) and will provide ample opportunity to practice such skills before tryouts.
