Have you ever wanted to know what it was really like as a burlesque star in the golden era of Burlesque? Burlesque Legend Ellion Ness made her debut on the Minsky's stage in the '50s, toured the burlesque circuit as an international headliner, and has joined the cast of the world's greatest burlesque stars in the Burlesque Hall of Fame Titans of Tease showcase.
Ellion will bring her newspaper articles and photos. She looks forward to sharing her stories about her extensive stage career, and is excited to share stories and tips from burlesque stars she performed and studied with. This talk includes a question and answer session. Don't miss this rare and beautiful opportunity to get to know a true legend.

Learn stocking technique from one of the best in the business! Burlesque Legend Ellion Ness. She excels at owning the stage with beautiful struts and flirty faces, but it's her innovative and cheeky stocking peels that truly sparkle. Shell demonstrate techniques and gives tips on choosing stockings, showing off your legs, and making the most of this classically naughty bit of lingerie. Bring your own stockings and be prepared to seduce!
This is a movement class. Bring your own stockings and clothing that makes you feel comfortable and sexy that you can stretch in.

Minsky's in the 1950s

Burlesque Legend Ellion Ness shares with us her rare and fabulous experiences at Minsky's from chorus girl to talking woman to headliner. She'll teach the classic burlesque show format, complete with cast member roles and examples of skits and routines. The Minsky's stage was home to the greatest stars in the business, and Ms. Ness is thrilled to share her memories and stories about her time there.

Classic Pastie Making and Music Fun!
Burlesque Legend Ellion Ness teaches the classic art of pastie making while she shares music she performed to throughout her fabulous career. Have you ever wanted to know how to make your own pair of pasties? Now is your chance! Enjoy this crafting session complete with songs and stories from "The Thinking Man's Red-Head" of Minsky's Burlesque!
This is a crafting class. Basic materials will be provided. Bring embellishments to make them your own like pretty fabric, sequins and rhinestones.

Ellion Ness, The Thinking Mans Readhead, was dancing as soon as she was old enough to walk. Hailing from San Francisco, she began her career in the 1950s, mentored by Lili St. Cyr, and soon found her way to the stage of the legendary Minskys Burlesque. Shes a faithful member of the Burlesque Hall of Fame Legend Family, always ready with support and advice for up and coming burlesque performers. Follow your bliss is her motto!
