Heather Maloney had one of her first public shows at a small coffee shop in Northampton Massachusetts in September of 2009. She was so nervous and timid that she had to be prodded onto the stage. In July of 2011 she walked out onto the stage at the Calvin Theater in front of 1,500 fans of the Grammy Award winning artist Jonny Lang, and brought them to their feet in applause. Jonny immediately asked her to open three more shows and called her "an extremely talented songwriter and incredibly great singer." Heather has fallen in love with performing, having played over 225 shows in 20 states in 20 months, sharing the stage with such celebrated acts as Chip Taylor & Carrie Rodriquez, Mike & Ruthy, Vance Gilbert, Dala, David Wax Museum, Devil Makes Three, Caravan of Thieves, Jeffrey Gaines, Jill Sobule, Meg Hutchinson, Cliff Eberhardt and many others.

"I'm just like you."  At least, that's what Laura Tsaggaris hopes you'll take away from her new album, EVERYMAN.  Produced by Jamie Candiloro (REM, Ryan Adams, Willie Nelson, Courtney Love, Luscious Jackson) and due out early 2013, her third full-length record magnifies the paradox we all face at the hands of the human condition.  In literature, an Everyman is an ordinary person placed in extraordinary circumstances.  Ordinary in our daily struggles with fear, insecurity, frustration, judgment and loss, we each experience extraordinary moments of conquering these overwhelming obstacles through the engines of courage, confidence, perseverance, empathy and love.  These 13 songs are my humble call to unite under the principle that, no matter our sex, gender, race, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status or profession, we are all Everyman.

Andy Zipf has stretched well beyond feverous guitar playing and dug deeper into his coined intimate falsetto voice on his third full length, Jealous Hands. Forgoing the usual process of trying to capture the delicate tight rope of his live show -- revival energy cascading into quiet moments of revel -- producer Jeremy Griffith (Norma Jean, Guiltmaker) and Zipf whittled down the twenty songs culled for Jealous Hands to ten. With a full day devoted to each song, there was no guide other than letting the muse carry each song for the day, often times surprising the two. The end result is the most soft-spoken release of the performing singer/songwriter's career; an Americana record true and pure that stands free of the genre connotations that such a word brings. This is over a year of Zipf's life captured, from the non-stop life on the road to what ends up coming home, Jealous Hands is his story and his soundtrack.
