A Musical Banquet Falmouth June 2017
Schola concert: A Musical Banquet. Note: Performance is at 7:30 PM!
Featuring lively madrigals by Morley and Dowland as well as pieces by Handel, French 'aris de cour' and a toe tapping 'ballo' by Monteverdi. The concert concludes with excerpts from Gluck's masterpiece 'Orfeo and Eurdice.'
Pre-concert talk at 7:00 PM.
Concert will be performed in Falmouth, in Portland at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and the Cathedral of Saint Luke and premiering for the first time in North Conway, NH.
Seating is first come first serve, arrive early for best seating options.
Ticket sales will end 12 hours prior to concert start time, after that tickets will be available at the door.
