As Pants the Hart St Luke 2017
Schola concert: As Pants the Hart.
Featuring Bach's poignant aria from Cantata 42, rarely performed chromatic harmonies by Lassus and Gesualdo and a radiant five part setting of the famous 'Ave Maria' by Palestrina. The second half of the concert features Handel's Chandos Anthem Number 6, 'As pants the hart.' The anthem features a vigorous opening sinfonia and heartfelt arias and duets.
Pre-concert talk at 7:00 PM.
Seating is first come first serve, arrive early for best seating options.
Ticket sales will end 8 hours prior to concert start time. After that, tickets may be purchased at the door.
