Barbara Jaenicke Painting the Poetic Landscape: a Three-Day Workshop
April 20-22, 2018 9:30 am - 4:30pm
Painting the Poetic Landscape is Barbaras basic workshop and will include working with oils and pastels. This workshop is a broad overview of her approach to painting and covers value, color temperature, chroma, composition, editing, and mark making (how to make every stroke of pigment count).
Each day will begin with a demonstration followed by plenty of individual help at the easel. These are studio workshops unless "plein air" is indicated. Most students who attend my workshops have some painting experience, but all levels are welcome, and I'm happy to give individual attention to beginners.
Class size is limited. We will open online registration on January 15. However, you can sign up at the gallery via email or phone now. The cost is $450.00 plus supplies. A $225.00 non-refundable deposit holds your place in the workshop with a balance to be paid by April 10
