Aqua
A contemporary modern dance completing submerged underwater portrayed on film. Have an opportunity to mingle with the creative mind behind Aqua during the cocktail hour. See original choreography notes, behind the scene rehearsal footage, meet the dancers, as well as a question and answer session with the choreographer. All to get that VIP glimpse behind the art. Concluding in the first showing of Aqua.
This project is a pivotal step in creating a work that will defy traditional concepts of dance. It will provide an opportunity to take the style of dance that I have been doing for over 30 years and place it in a new environment. Challenging myself as a choreographer as well as my dancers. Placing them in an underwater environment where there will be opportunities for short sequences to be executed at a time while being filmed to then, through the art of editing, complete a full work of underwater artistry.
