KJ Denhert
KJ has played Saturday nights at the famous 55 Bar Jazz Club in the Village for 20+ years and was named one of Jazz.com's top female vocalists.
Her powerful, sultry voice and smart, funny lyrics have earned her four Independent Music Award nominations and the prestigious John Lennon Songwriting Contest.
She she has played clubs and jazz festivals from Asia to Europe. Her luminous energy will touch your soul.

STORYTELLERS
Selena Coppock

Selena, a comedian, writer, and storyteller, recently filmed the role of Rhonda in season 2 of the sitcom RED OAKS on Amazon Prime. She has performed at The Moth, RISK!, and VH1, . She created the popular Twitter and Instagram account @NYTVows where she pretends to be the NY Times Wedding section and pokes fun at the wedding industrial complex.
Critics love her: The New York Times called her an impressive young talent. Village Voice said shes a dark horse audiences never see coming. Her collection of funny essays, The New Rules for Blondes, celebrates and subverts the blonde stereotype.

Jeff Simmermon
Jeff, a standup and Moth GrandSlam Champion storyteller, has also appeared on This American Life, The Moth's podcast, and has written for the Paris Review's blog.

Hes the producer/performer and brains behind And I Am Not Lying, a variety show that combines stand-up, storytelling, burlesque, sideshow and music at UCB East on the second Friday of the month (right after Out by 10).

He just recoded his first comedy album, And I am Not Lying, to be released mid-April. Hes a funny tough-guy with a big heart.

Joseph Keckler

Joseph is a tall, delicious drink of water with a sharp wit and a face as malleable as Jim Carreys. He delivers his funny stories and songs in a sonorous voice with a 3+-octave range (hes a trained opera singer) that will blow you away.

He recently made his off-broadway debut in Preludes at Lincoln Center. He has played venues from BAM to the New Museum of Contemporary Art, Merkin Hall, South by Southwest and Joes Pub. Hes been featured on BBC America and WNYC.

The New York Times called him a major vocal talent. The Village Voice named him Best Downtown Performance Artist, 2013. He has only gotten better since then.

Out by 10 Co-Founder and producer, journalist and storyteller, Susan Seliger, hand picks the best musicians, storytellers and multimedia performers to create a night of inspiration (not to mention free wine) the second Friday of the month in an intimate NYC salon-like space. Out by 10 -- it's a great place to get your culture fix fast!
