The Vajra presents ~ Healing with Shamanic Journeying with Amanda Moreno

Journeying is a method of inner consultation that can be a helpful tool for self-empowerment. Referred to by some as the first spiritual practice of humanity, shamanic journeying uses drumming or rattling to induce an altered state of consciousness. This class will focus on journeying for personal healing and insight.

Well talk briefly about the history of the practice, some general conceptions of the other worlds, and the importance of imagination as a vital way of knowing. We will then engage in several journeys to the lower and upper worlds where participants can learn about their own guides, helpers and allies. The class will include partner work for power animal retrieval.

Participants will be asked to lie on the floor please bring a mat and pillow to make yourself comfortable. We will provide blankets, mats and props that you are welcome to use. All levels of experience welcome.
