"Breadbasket" Our Local Food Access Community
Inspired by Food Day.org and in collaboration with the Philadelphia Chapter of Les Dames d'Escoffier we are hosting an event that will highlight the many great food related organizations in our region and be fed by some of our beloved Philadelphia women chefs in our region.
We will kick off this day with an address by our Keynote Speaker food journalist Rick Nichols. Following his presentation we will follow this with a one hour educational panel presentation and discussion on stage consisting of representatives from several prominent groups including PASA, The Food Trust, UNI, and Grid Magazine. Our chef collaborators will prepare a buffet luncheon served between 1:30 and 3:30. During this time we have invited organizations to set up tables in the lobby so you can have an opportunity to meet with them and learn more about the amazing work that is being done in our region.
