Snap on 2&4 w/ The Lori Mechem Trio - December 2016

The next Snap on 2&4 event in the Jazz Cave will be December 2 at 8pm and will feature the Lori Mechem Trio!

Pianist Lori Mechem is the co-founder of NJW and has graced the stage of the Jazz Cave many times as an accompanist as well as leader of quartet and quintet groups, as well as with Brazilian music band Ritmos Picantes. This time, she's paring it down to the jazz piano trio with bassist and husband Roger Spencer, and their longtime collaborator, Chris Brown on drums. It's going to be an intimate and magical performance, with appearances by special guest vocalists Sandra Dudley, Christina Watson, and Joe Freel.

There will be two sets beginning at 8:00 pm in the Jazz Cave at the Workshop. Admission is $25 / $15 high school and college students with ID. Tickets will go on sale Monday November 21 at 10AM and will be available online on this page, by phone 24/7 at Brown Paper Tickets (800-838-3006) or during business hours at the NJW office (242-5299). A small convenience charge is added to online or 800-number purchases.

Policies: The Jazz Cave is a BYOB establishment, with no alcohol or food service. You are free to bring alcoholic beverages and snacks. We sell soft drinks and bottled water. The Jazz Cave is a listening room, and we ask patrons to keep conversation to a minimum and silence cell phones. Audio and video recording is prohibited. Ticket sales are final.
