The East Bay fine dining scene joins local community organizations for restaurateur Charlie Hallowell's third season of the successful Sunday Suppers series. Launched in May 2014, this event now occurs every other month and brings together spectacular food and good company to raise money for a different East Bay organization working on behalf of the community. To date, we have raised $150K for a number of great causes.
This month, we will be supporting the Ecology Center, whose mission is to inspire and build a sustainable, healthy, and just future for the East Bay, California, and beyond. We envision a world where human activity nurtures the ecosystems that we all depend on a world of green cities; empowered, resilient communities; zero waste and zero toxics; equal access to healthy food; sustainable resource use; and a safe and stable climate. We transform the ideals of sustainability into everyday practice through information you can act on, infrastructure you can count on, and leadership for lasting change
Charlie and representatives from the Ecology Center will share information about their work, and we will be raising additional funds at the event for the Ecology Center.
Tickets cost $100 per person, wine included, for a multicourse, prix-fixe meal.
