Marbled Holiday Greeting Cards
Marbling is among the most popular recent design trends, but did you know you can create those stunning, swirling effects using everyday household products? In this continuation of her upcycling series, book artist Bel Mills will teach you a clever technique for marbling paper using just shaving cream and food coloring. You will master a process you can easily use at home, and make a set of gorgeous holiday cards while youre at it! No experience in paper treatments is required, and anyone who has found traditional marbling techniques fussy or frustrating will rejoice. Students bring a 9X13 rectangular pan, and a ruler, and will leave with a set of 10 marbled holiday cards and envelopes, as well as several marbled gift tags. Feel free to bring extra paper items to marble if time permits. Happy Holidays!
