DIY Community Kimchi Workshop
We're excited to be working with ChuckAlek Independent Brewers on this community kimchi-making and beer-pairing workshop!
LEARN: We'll explain fermentation and have a brief discussion about the benefits of making and eating fermenting foods, as well as a history of how Chuck Alek got started
DEMO: We'll show you how easy it is to start making fermented foods yourself at home! We'll demo some simple seasonal fermented recipes which are loaded with healthy "probiotic" bacteria.
TASTE: We'll have a variety of fermented kimchis to sample
Kimchi/Beer PAIRING: We will curate some of Chuck Alek's finest brews and pair them with various styles of kimchi
DO IT YOURSELF: Roll up your sleeves and make your very own batch of spicy kimchi to take home and ferment
Ticket price includes three 5-ounce tasters (21+ only) and your own quart-sized take-home mason jar of kimchi!
