Songwriter/solo~acoustic act Derek R. Astles is influenced by twangy country, folk, pop and rock...Live he performs a mix of all-original folknrolln music and classics of Country and Rock. Astles has quite a history as a cafe-circuit touring perfomer. His songs fall into a somewhat classic folk-oriented vein, but there's quite a sense of insightful, pop-music savvy craft to his tunes.

Erin and Dave are two new singer songwriters to the scene that come t the Lizard tonight through the Open Mic Challenge. The duo weave seamless harmonies around beautiful melodies that are reminiscent of the Everly Brothers and early Fleetwood Mac. Their style is effortless and their music is catchy and compelling...
