He honed his skills gigging at various pubs, bars and music gatherings in the Chicago area from age 15 onwards, and was often joined by Josh Minor. He made the move to California in 2009, spending time in Redding, CA and finally, Roseville, CA, where the band resides now. Tim is an accomplished musician, who has had 3 years of voice lessons and 10 years of performing experience. He has sung for Kingsford, Storm in a Tea Cup, Temper Be Ware, and finally, National Lines.
Kimberley Peters Kimberley Peters is a singer/songwriter from New Zealand. She gained a Bachelors Degree in Music Performance from the University of Auckland in New Zealand, graduating in 2009. She has been writing and recording music since the age of 10, and plays acoustic guitar and piano, with over 14 years of music lessons under her belt. At 17, Kimberley competed in the 'Play It Strange' National Songwriting competition in New Zealand, and was placed in the top 100 out of the thousands of entries. She began pursuing a career in music after this time, performing solo at various events around Auckland City for hundreds of people. After her time at University, Kimberley moved to Northern California, where she met her, now husband, Tim Peters. They instantly began playing and writing music together, and the rest is history.
Josh Minor Josh Minor has been drumming since he was two years old. His passion for music at such a young age saw him begin gigging and playing for several bands from age 12. He has toured for 2+ years nationally, as well as recorded for nation-touring artists. He has played a wide variety of music styles from Indie, to Pop, Rock and Metal being a few. His dad helped to spark Josh's passion through his own career as a professional trumpet player (scoring, and session player) who toured the West Coast for years from LA through Portland. Josh has played for many artists including Matt Moore, Kelsey Rottiers, the Rising Tide, Their Beauty Fades, Motel Warden, The Commons, Sally's Army and finally National Lines. He is incredibly rounded as a musician because of his experiences in the Metal scene, as well as Jazz and light Rock. He also plays guitar and bass. One of his motivations for co-starting National Lines with Tim was his passion to write and perform songs, and plays a key role as a co-writer in the band.
