TaTa Takedown IV

The Fort Myers Derby Girls will have their FINAL home bout of the 2012 season on September 30th at Bamboozles Skating & Events Center against their long time rivals, the Gainesville Roller Rebels. Proceeds from the bout will benefit the Lisabet Anna Buesing Foundation helping young, single mothers with breast cancer.

Location: Bamboozles Skating & Events Center
Bamboozles is located at 2095 Andrea Lane in Fort Myers.

Advance Ticket Holders - doors open at 5:40p.m.
Doors open to general public at 5:45p.m.
Game Begins at 6:30p.m.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.

Note: Seating is limited, so we encourage you to bring a foldable chair in case all seating is taken. Join us for the after party at Ale Marys where you can meet and party with your favorite derby girls!

Lisabet was diagnosed with stage IIIB breast cancer in 2005 at the age of 23. She was a single mother of a then 3 year old boy. Even though Lisa fought for her life with a double radical mastectomy and three years of battles, Lisa was taken by the cancer when it metastasized into her brain and lungs. Lisa lost her life to cancer on November 1st, 2008. During her life, Lisa became involved in many cancer foundations and was in a national ad for the Sun Program. Because she received so much help through contributions, she started a foundation in her own name to show her son the importance of paying it forward to others who need help. Her family and friends are continuing her work with the Lisabet Anna Buesing Foundation to help give other young, single mothers with breast cancer financial aid.
