All Hallows Eve Concert - Song of the Angels Flute Orchestra
Song of the Angels Flute Orchestra is a Los Angeles area based flute orchestra comprised of professional and semi professional flutists. In 2008, Frederick Britton Staff, artistic director, founded Song of the Angels Flute Orchestra. Charles Fernandez, renowned composer, arranger and conductor brilliantly directs this group. The SOA Flute Orchestra was featured recently at the National Flute Association Convention in San Diego.
This concert features the low flute sounds, including Bass flutes, Contrabass and a double Contrabass flute! Concert selections include works from Rimsky-Korsakov, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Edward Elgar, Charles Gounod and Modest Mussorgsky. Also featured is the 2016 National Flute Association award winning composition of our conductor and composer in residence, Charles Fernandez.
We welcome you to join us for this uplifting event with beautiful flute harmonies. With Halloween right around the corner, the spirit of this holiday is the theme of this event.
